This press has special feature
1) It has two rams (one inside other) and three connecting rods,
2) outer ram is connected to the two outer connecting rods and inner ram is connected with the central connecting rod (which is 30 degrees shifted with respect to the left and right connecting rods
3) now during ram movement to BDC, the torque is transferred form central connecting rod to inner ram thru screw-mechanism, which further rotates the inner ram
4) the advantage of this rotation, makes the material flow "in spiral direction" which allows to get better conical components and other gear parts.
this seperate movement of these two rams is an optional feature and can be stopped(blocked) anytime, which make the press work as a normal 1000 ton crank press.
